Trescray have a policy of regularly reviewing staff training requirements.
Our current training is focused on 4 main areas. These are highlighted below;
Induction Training Each new employee is given an introduction to the Company, it’s Procedures, products and services and Health and Safety and Quality Policies.
Technical Training Where it is determined that individuals would benefit from Specific technical training or other ad-hoc training then these are carried out wither in-house or using specialist training schools. This will be for :
- IP Networking
- IT Cabling
- Electrical Services
- Fire Systems
- CCTV & Security
Trescray have apprentice schemes in place and provide both in house, on the job training and specific technical training to help develop their skills.
Where it is determined that individuals would benefit from Personal Development training or other ad-hoc training then these are carried out wither in-house or using specialist training schools.
Examples of in-house training include;
Time Management, Innovative Thinking, Managing Meetings, Managing a Team, Presentation Skills, Training Tips
Examples of training from outside sources include;
Sales Skills, Project Management, Financial Accounting, IT Training
Health and Safety and Quality
Health and Safety and Quality training is provided to all employees during induction. In addition more in-depth Safety Awareness training is provided to site staff which includes manual handling, confined space, working at heights etc.
Tool Box Talks are also provided on site-specific hazards and are usually given on a weekly basis.
We also have in-house individuals trained as Health and safety Auditors and First Aiders.
